Make an Impact

I joined for service… I stay to make a difference

Larry Hatch, a member of Rotary for over 25 years, attributes his involvement to the ability to be part of an organization with a reputation for community and world service.  Hatch chose to be a member of the Forest Grove Daybreak Rotary Club so that he could have his morning meeting before his business day started, allowing him to be a member of a club in his home community.

“I’ve always believed in community service, but Rotary has made me a global citizen,” Hatch said.  “I’m only one person, but when you put the power of Rotary International behind something you can make a real impact.  If you want to make an impact in your local community and the world, join Rotary’s 1.2 million members and make something happen.”
