Get Up. Solve Problems.
I joined for something to do… I stayed to solve world problems
Nedra Hathaway, late member of the Forest Grove Daybreak Rotary Club for over 20 years attributed her joining of Rotary to its dedication to service and promoting ethics in business and international community building. “I kept going to club meetings to be part of a group where everyone is willing to get up early and try to solve world problems,” Hathaway said. She also enjoyed the weekly programs that kept her up to date with city, county and school issues. When asked how she would describe Rotary Hathaway said, “Rotary is a group of local people joining together to work on local and international projects that help build a better community… and you get to meet some great people while having fun at the same time.”
